Be BC Ready is a program developed and presented by local government and human services organizations and is designed to provide the residents of Broome County with information on how to prepare for emergencies from natural disasters to an influenza pandemic. 2008 is the program's inaugural year and representatives from the Southern Tier Chapter of the American Red Cross, the Broome County Office of Emergency Services, the Broome County Health Department, and the Broome County Community Organizations Active in Disasters (COAD) will be providing presentations about our community's emergency response plans and resources and how you can become prepared!
